The aim of this report is to reveal what movies genre is the student of labsky mostly watched and liked. This report's information and data is based on several people I interviewed in Labsky. The question of the interview are about what movies genre they like, which one do they like (western/Indonesia) movie, and why they like it.
Half of the person I interviewed choose they prefer to watch drama movies because the story of the movies is easy to understand and the story is close to our reality. 20 percent of them choose comedy and animation movie because it's entertaining and a stress reliever. 10 percent of them choose horror and thriller movie because it's increase their bravery. And the rest of them like all movies genre that have an interesting trailer/movie cover. Almost a hundred percent prefer to watch western movies than Indonesian movies because usually the story is more interesting, the effect of the film seems more real, and the moral of the story is better than Indonesian movie. But, for the motivation movie (laskar pelangi, etc), some people said that Indonesia movies is better than western movies.
It is pathetic that almost all of Indonesian people choose western movie because they said western movies is more educated, have a message that we use in our reality, etc. That’s the reason why western movies is more worthed to watch than Indonesian movies. However, we still have a chance to make Indonesian movies changes to be a better movies in the future.

I've created this report to present what people on Indonesia like's to watch and why they like it. I've interviewed 3 of my classmate. The questions are about which genre's of movies do they like, why do they like it, example of the movie, which country did it come from, from which country do they think produces the best movies, and what do they think about Indonesian's movies.
The first person i interviewed was Jafar. His favourite genre of movie are fantasy and action. He likes to watch action movies because they are exciting and fun to watch. His movie of choice is Harry Potter because they contain both of the genre. He likes movies that are produced from USA. He thinks that Indonesian movies are pretty good but he thinks that they should make more fantasies and action movies.
The second preson i interviewed was Irsyad. His choice of genres are comedy, action and sport. He likes those genres because they area entertaining in many ways. His choice of movie to watch is The simpson movie, because the sense of comedy in that movie is amazing. He likes movie the comes from USA aswell, same as Jafar. He thinks some Indonesian movies are not that exciting nor do they look interesting. but he does think 2 movies that area interesting to watch, and they area "Laskar Pelangi" and "Sang Pemimpi".
The last person i interviewed was Via. Her choice of genres area Adventure, comedy (cartoon) and fantasy. She like's comedy and cartoon becasuse they are exciting and also entertaining to watch ex : Ice Age. She likes adventure movies becasue they area thrilling and also they always makes you curious on what's going to happen next ex : Pirates of the Caribbean , and she likes fantasy movies because they are creative and the action area always fun to watch ex : Avatar. She like's movies from USA because they are more entertaining than other movies from around the world. Her thought about Indonesian movies are good, but sadly there is always a movie that picks the genre or theme of the movie that are not quite what the Indonesian's hope for, but hey it's a free country, anybody can make a movie even if they set a bad example. Although the uninteresting movie's that Indonesian's make, she's gives credit on Indonesian's movies that always inspired kids. So she thinks on that point, Indonesian's should produce more movies that are meaningful and movies that inspire people.
Well, on this interview i did with 3 of my classmate. I conclude that most Indonesian's like movies from all over the world, especially movies that are from USA because most of the popular movies are made from USA. Even though they like movies from other countries, they still respect and appriciate movies from their own countriy as well. My hope from this report is for Indonesian's to make more exciting movies so we can show the world that Indonesian's can make great quality movies the same as other countries.
